Blank Slate

Uncategorized

Its the hardest thing to face, isn’t it? I if you dictate me, its easy for me to write it down (and forget in no time). What if I tell you to create your own method.. its hard. It applies to Diabetes as well! Lets see how…   Each individual has two components:  Genotype (genetically determined factors) and Phenotype (Physically/behaviorally determined factors).

Genotype: Having a strong family history of diabetes, certain ethnic regions (like most of us in India)

Phenotype:  Having certain type of preoccupied thinking of One’s own life practices, belief’s (which aren’t really working), and all other Risk factors such as Sedentary life style, Diet… blah blah blah… You know what I mean..

Genotype is probably little hard to change I agree, but Phenotype? If you say its also difficult to change.. I will not buy that for a second! You can adopt a different set of Practices and behaviors so that the out come become favourable (in preventing diabetes).

So you have Blank slate right with you… you can write a different story.. Question is will you choose to do it?

Lets make up our mind to face towards a “World free of preventable Diabetes”
