When is was time to enroll to the medical school way back in 2002, we had to seek for help as our account was just breaking even. As per the suggestion of one of my uncle, we went to one of the largest bank SBI for help. They gave a whole book (application)! to fill it and did a detailed medical examination by some authorized doctor (he collected his hefty fee though)… in the end they ended up in rejecting my request..it was almost near the admission deadline, I could have easily lost the opportunity for an admission.
I was an average performing student wanted to dream big to get in to medical stream, they could have seen my background, the little property we had (for security), big dream behind it and could have granted few thousand rupees I needed then. They didn’t. I ended up in getting the same benefit from a local Syndicate bank close to my village. I re payed the whole amount promptly (may be it was thrice the initial price I received I guess), they helped me on time…. till date I have so much gratitude towards Syndicate bank (Which is Canara Bank now), I ended up in Working in the same district where the bank was originally came in to existence (probably serving the same lineage of people of Syndicate Bank). Then I took series of help from them (my first car, my first clinic etc) they never said no. On the contrary I hated SBI, even after so long… I still remember the story that they did to me.
Timely action and help is needed for your Diabetes, to get the long term benefits. Early phase is vulnerable one, get it well under control and rest is sure you will have great Legacy effects. If you loose it early or waste your time… you may not get another day to correct the old mistakes.
